Lauren and Brian have a beautiful love story _ one that came together over distance and time. Their wedding at Holy Family Cathedral and reception at the Mayo Hotel was a glamorous yet intimate occasion that told it perfectly. By the end of the night, it literally brought together all of their closest friends and family in a giant group hug.

Lauren, her long blond locks flowing, and her bridesmaids in strapless black gowns cut a picture of Hollywood glam strutting in front of the Mayo. Donetta had a blast snapping Brian and his fun-loving groomsmen, made up of his five brothers and best friend.

The Crystal Ballroom at the Mayo glowed in candlelight with tables elegantly topped in black. Each was set with towering bouquets of roses and hydrangeas by the French Bouquet and a special gift from Lauren _ toothbrush, paste and floss in a classy black bag. She is an orthodontist, after all!
The Oklahoma City band, Zoom City, made the dance floor irresistible, cranking out a full spectrum of classic rock tunes. Things got lively and then turned simply lovely at the end of the night, when the crowd spontaneously circled around Lauren and Brian as they slow danced. Before it turned into a riotous group hug, quite a few people had tears in their eyes, including me. _ Kelly

What a beautiful bride Elise makes! We tromped all over the grounds a few weeks ago at Post Oak Lodge where today’s wedding is taking place, and Elise looked absolutely gorgeous the entire time. I’m not sure I’ve ever met anyone more comfortable in a wedding gown! She could go from crazy laughing to natural elegance in a heartbeat. It was a perfect evening with a blue sky, green fields and low golden sunlight peeking through the trees. I had so much fun photographing Elise that I’ve been looking forward to this wedding day for weeks! Congratulations Elise and Andrew! _ Kelly.jpg)

Laura and Alex had a big surprise for friends and family who gathered at the Skirvin Hotel in Oklahoma City to celebrate their engagement. It wasn’t an engagement party at all. Laura and Alex were getting married then and there!

She broke the news to her suddenly-bridesmaids with a series of posters that ended with, “Surprise!” His friends suddenly found themselves turned into groomsmen, minus the stiff tuxes and plastic shoes. This calm and relaxed pair had wanted a low-key event and even their grandparents weren’t let in on the secret until it was time for Laura to walk down the aisle.

She was simply stunning in the beautiful form-fitting gown she pulled from its hiding place in a closet. Their faces were radiant and happy when they returned down the aisle as husband and wife. Alex kept stopping to kiss her as they headed out for some quick photos of just the two of them.
