Linda + Bill

Linda Morris and Bill French were married February 12th at the beautiful Harwelden Mansion. It was an intimate affair shared with only their closest family and friends, who were as delighted and overjoyed about their special day as the bride and groom themselves. Everything about the evening was simple, classic, elegant and perfect.

undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedThere was no hiding their emotion when Linda and Bill saw each other for the first time on their wedding day. Both had tears in their eyes! Bill couldn’t stop staring and gushing at his stunning bride and Linda was all smiles! undefinedundefinedundefinedLinda and Bill got their wish of marrying at sunset, and what a sunset it was! The sun radiated through every window of the mansion making all the rooms (and the bride and groom) glow.undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedFrom her fitted ivory gown to the cream colored tulips no detail was over looked or without meaning. Linda wanted everything to be special so she only  chose her favorite flowers, her daughter and daughters boyfriend spent hours making the wedding cake themselves and she used Just Catering by Orr, a family friend, to create a spectacular feast as well as to help with the wedding coodination.undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedDave and the Wavetones, got everyone on the dance floor and kept them there well into the night. Although Linda and Bill’s kids tried to keep up on the dance floor, Bill definitely owned the night with his stellar dance moves and enthusiasm.

Kylie + Tyler

What do you get when you mix a beautiful bride, a charming groom, a wheelbarrow, a hockey team and a dancing grandmother in an elegant hilltop venue on a moonlit night in February? A whole lot of smiles and fun!
Kylie Burd and Tyler Wick were married Feb. 12 at the Vesica Piscis Chapel in Catoosa amid a joyful and cozy gathering of family and friends.  The bride’s gown glowed a soft gold, like the lovely European-styled chapel itself. But when the pastor declared them “soul mates,” it was the smiles on Kylie and Tyler’s faces that really lit up the room.

In Kylie’s family, there’s a tradition that serves as something as a litmus test for new members. The groom must load his bride into a wheelbarrow, push her some distance, buy her something and then return to the wedding celebration. Everybody was laughing as Tyler feigned difficulty and then easily wheeled his bride out into the chilly night, across the parking lot, where Kylie’s uncle “sold” him a box of candy.

undefinedDJ Connection kept the party hopping all night. The guys from Tyler’s hockey team showed off their dance moves, but Kylie’s grandmother and Tyler’s mom stole the show on the dance floor.
The groom’s cake looked like a hockey rink, and Tyler’s team and coach were at the wedding. But when I asked the guys to smile for their formals, no one appeared to have ever lost a tooth to a hockey stick. Everyone, Tyler said, had recently had their full grins restored. They must have known Kylie and Tyler’s wedding celebration would give them lots of reasons to smile. _ Kelly
