Aly + Jerrod

Aly and Jerrod tied the knot on June 3, 2017 at Cedar Ridge Country Club, and the whole event was absolutely fantastic! With flowers by Ever Something, makeup by Adney Artistry, music by Lionsroad and a dazzling appearance by the sun just as the couple saw each other for the first time, it was a beautiful start for this sweet, sweet couple. Kelly and Lauren were so happy to be there for Simply White capturing tons of wonderful moments.

Cedar Ridge provided the perfect venue for the whole day, from getting ready to the fabulous outdoor photos and ceremony.

After the wedding party was all ready, we knocked out the formals outside on the beautiful greens. Aly and Jerrod did choose to have a first look, but the initial formals were still carefully orchestrated to avoid the bride and groom seeing each other too soon!

As a unique twist, our bride Aly was the one who got the first look surprise while Jerrod came up behind her. There’s no reason why you can’t make up your own rules after all! We love this couple! You couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful backdrop to this touching moment.

Another mix of old and new… the joy and love in the crowd was overwhelming as everyone squeezed in to celebrate their union on both sides of the isle.

Back inside, Aly and Jerrod shared their first dance in front of Lionsroad‘s dramatic giant marquee letters! #LOVE

The gorgeous cake was provided by Merrit‘s, and dressed by Eversomething‘s beautiful blooms.

Finally at the end of a wonderful night, Aly and Jerrod made their grand exit amidst friends, family, and sparklers, disappearing into the night in the back of a wonderful classic getaway car!

Stacy + Trey

While the Harwelden Mansion was beautiful, the Stacy and Trey were simply stunning. Decked out in traditional tuxedos and black bow ties Trey and his groomsmen looked on as each bridesmaid made their way down the isle in beautiful and unique to them, natural colored dresses. Of course, naturally, it was Stacy that stole the show in a beautiful silk gown bedecked with fine silk flowers and intricate crystal beading. She was radiant as her father escorted her to her groom. While all the special family heirlooms carefully placed throughout the mansion made the day was about the past as well as the present and future, Trey’s father cranked up the intimacy of the day by conducting the ceremony that proclaimed Trey and Stacy as husband and wife.

After the quick ceremony partygoers headed inside for a delicious meal and lots of dancing. The dance floor was hopping all night as the ladies slipped on their dancing shoes and the guys made sure to collect the celebratory koozies that the bride and groom had made for guests. Folks gathered together sipping on the specialty drink of the night and conversed on the back porch and in the the garden, romantically lit with tea lights hanging from branches.

Their wedding was exceptional as the bride and groom made sure to think of all of the little details and created an intimacy like none other, showing their love for each other and their families, here and gone. We wish you both the best in your beautiful future together!

Miranda + Cody

Miranda and Cody were married at Vesica Pisces Chapel in Claremore. If you’ve never been there then you’re in for a surprise as it is a little hidden beauty of a place. It was a gorgeous all in one venue with a chapel on one side and reception area on the other, perfect for the intimate affair that Miranda and Cody had designed. The landscaping was absolutely breathtaking and it was pleasantly placed right at the top of a hill in between a little “forest” of lush green trees. As soon as I drove up I knew it was going to be a wonderful night. When I walked in I was taken aback by the rich warm wood throughout and the vast picture windows covering as many walls as possible. It was simply lovely.

The couple had thought of everything and that truly made the night special. Every little detail screamed “Miranda and Cody,” from their unique rings found on a road trip to the fishbowl centerpieces that guests were able to take home to the hand made recipe books which included  many of the couple’s favorite recipes. The groom’s mother designed and created every single floral arrangement as well as hand tea-dyed the bride’s veil, which was the very same veil her mother wore on her wedding day.

One of the many incredible high points of the night included all the amazing dancing on the floor and the band that played them through it. Everyone seemed to be skilled ballroom dancers and twisted, twirled and turned their way across the floor. Miranda’s dad, uncle, as well as the groom were all part of the band. They played an eclectic mix of songs and making sure the include a few of Miranda’s favorite Sinatra songs. The toasts were comical as well as emotional and the cake was delicious! Finally the night capped off in a flurry of rose petals as the couple made their getaway in a Cooper exclaiming “We’re Sexy Married”

Laura + Robert

Laura and Robert are awesome. They are one of the most laid back couples that I’ve met and made my job so easy!

Laura and Robert’s wedding day started as a gorgeous sunny day then turned into a beautifully memorable evening. Everything about their wedding was laid back, simple and tremendously fun. Laura had the coolest bridesmaids that took care of her through all the emotions of the day and loved her like a sister. Robert’s groomsmen were awesome friends that I can see will be friends for life. There was hardly a serious moment all day, minus the few tears throughout the day, although they were all happy ones. They all made this day a fantastic wedding to shoot.

Laura looked stunning in an ivory lace gown and adorned her bridesmaids in classic navy dresses. They sipped champagne and snacked on graham crackers and nutella as they all had their makeup done, joked, and told stories about Laura! They presented her with the most thoughtful cards with their fingerprints and laughed and cried together as the ceremony drew closer.

The sun shone down on guests as they watched the beautiful couple say their vows overlooking the gorgeous pond and fountain in the center of Centennial Park.  Then the party moved inside where guests enjoyed a delicious dinner from Catering by Orr. There was lots of toasts by the happy couple’s closest friends, a delicious white cake with whipped cream and raspberry filling and then drinks and dancing went well into the night.

This was an amazing, intimate affair and Simply White is thankful to have been a part of this awesome event. Congratulations! – Lauren
