Katie + Rob

Last Christmas Rob proposed to Katie. This Christmas, Katie is his wife.  Fittingly, this beautiful couple decided to have a holiday wedding a few weeks ago, and Southern Hills Country Club provided the perfect backdrop.

The day was perfect. After a heartfelt letter exchange, Katie got into her stunning gown and had a beautiful “first look” with her father. And although brisk and breezy, we managed to take advantage of the bright blue day, and Rob had a chance to see his lovely bride outdoors.  Christie at Southern Hills presented a perfect timeline. Nobody felt rushed, and we took full advantage of our time to get plenty of photos indoors as well as outside. 

“I was the most relaxed bride!” Katie told us after the fact. “It was so perfect in every aspect.”

Shortly after sunset, we got the Old Urban Trolley, which was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and went to Christ the King. Msgr. Mueggenborg and Father O’Brien officiated.

Flowers from Mrs. Dehaven’s were a perfect complement to the holiday decor. And Tulsa’s Full Flava Kings created the perfect party mood. Just as things we getting hot, family and friends saw them off with sparklers.
